BZZZZT! Sorry contestant, wrong answer, but thanks for playing our little game. The real answer is a majority of scientists have religious faith, and psychologists use the DSM-IV reference manual for standard diagnoses, and it does not claim that faith is unhealthy or a disease of any kind. One cannot form a basis for morality without a metaphyics of some kind.

The atheist dogma is itself a religious position or belief system, claiming to KNOW how the universe began and ends, and the meaning of life. The "SELFISH GENE" theory rewards murderers and punishes victims by relative procreative successes. Atheist science teaches that it's GOOD to kill your competitors to reduce their offspring and increase your own, and it is also GOOD to lie and try to get away with murder.

'One cannot form a basis for morality...' oh, you are truly talking right out of your a$s. as far as atheism (aka; the boogieman) is concerned, you are so utterly, totally ... well, *sigh* its clear that this monster-under-the-bed view of REAL live people, alongside your revenge / reward-based faith in a magical being, hereby precludes you from engaging in further pretense at rational discussion on this topic (and expect to be considered logical at any rate), and, quite frankly, has caused you to be suspect elsewhere in this forum. wowie
